Supreme Court Justice and wife have sparked a banner battle

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito Jr., left, and his wife Martha-Ann Alito, have sparked questions about his objectivity surrounding all cases involving the insurrection. “Long Beach Island, NJ has never been especially present on Flag Day — but according to my sources in High Bar Harbor ... tonight it’s a sea of: Pride Flags, American Flags, Israel Flags, Pro-Trump Flags, Never Trump Flags ... it appears that Martha-Ann Alito has activated the island,” Rhule tweeted.

When a Twitter doubter responded, “Photo or it didn’t happen,” Ruhle tweeted, “Still in NYC, headed down tonight.”has been connected to the “Stop the Steal” campaign— a symbol of the Jan. 6 insurrectionists — was flown outside Alito’s home in Virginia, another controversial flag was displayed at his house in New Jersey, according to interviews and photographs obtained by the New York Times.

An “Appeal to Heaven” flag — also carried by insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 — was flown on a flagpole outside Alito’s home on Long Beach Island in July and September of 2023. A Google Street View image from late August also shows the flag, according to the report.

Meanwhile, Samuel Alito told the activist that he didn’t believe compromise with liberals was possible. “On one side or the other — one side or the other is going to win,” he said. “I don’t know. I mean, there can be a way of working — a way oftogether peacefully, but it’s difficult, you know, because there are differences on fundamental things that really can’t be compromised. They really can’t be compromised. So it’s not like you are going to split the difference.
