In an unexpected turn of events in the fraud and murder trial of a Soshanguve couple, the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria is set to hear testimony from their previous lawyer regarding an alleged forced confession. Sibusiso Mahlangu and his wife, Lerato, are on trial for the 2022 murder of her ex-boyfriend, Sibusiso Sithebe, who was allegedly killed by the couple in a plot to lodge fraudulent insurance policy payouts.
