Adelina Lisao died due to multiple organ failure following alleged abuse by her employer at a house in Bukit Mertajam.
Adelina’s employer, Ambika MA Shan, 61, escaped the gallows after the High Court was reported to have granted her a full acquittal on a murder charge today after the deputy public prosecutor requested for a discharge not amounting to an acquittal. “Why have our courts failed her? Why has the Malaysian government failed her? Where is justice for Adelina?” she asked in a statement today.

Now we know this AG is hopeless and has no credibility at all..
The judges in this case and that infamous Datin (whose Datuk's identity was never revealed) that also abuse her maid must be investigated. Last time I heard, the Datin has not served any jail time, and was given permission to go overseas to perform umrah.

The question is, why did the AG choose to drop the charged? On what grounds? Does this mean that employers are free to abuse maids? If you can go free after abusing maids up to the point of organ failure, then where is justice in this country?
