MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court has ordered the dismissal and disbarment of a judge for making false certifications and misappropriating staff's salaries.
The evidence on record also revealed that the judge had the ATM cash card of the driver, and that from September 2020 until July 2021, the driver's salaries were still being credited to his cash card and were being withdrawn upon the instructions of Magayanes.In dismissing the judge, the Court en banc ruled that her actions demonstrated her moral depravity and fell short of the standards of a magistrate of the law.
