Judge Van White,New York State Commission On Judicial Conduct,Bias

The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct says Rochester City Court Judge Van White should be admonished in a statement released Monday.

Rochester, N.Y. —

Vickers was sentenced in February to life in prison without parole for the murder of three men: Rochester Police Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz, Ricky Collinge, and Myjel Rand. Now, White says he understands how his previous choices could be a cause for concern for any defendants. The commission also highlighted a rally White attended for a boy who was hit by a stray bullet in Rochester in September 2022.

"It culminated with, ‘Always pay attention to what the police officer tells you to do, because if you don’t, it could end badly,'" White said regarding the post.
