The Jigawa State House of Assembly has passed a supplementary budget of one hundred and sixteen billion, nine hundred and thirty-five million, three thousand, four hundred and seventy-eight Naira (N116,935,003,478.00) into law.

The Jigawa State House of Assembly has passed a supplementary budget of one hundred and sixteen billion, nine hundred and thirty-five million, three thousand, four hundred and seventy-eight Naira into law. The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, said the assembly considered the supplementary budget sent by the executive after the recommendation of the appropriation committee on Thursday.

reports that Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, signed a budget of N298.14 billion for the state and the 27 local governments for 2024. According to him, 'The House led by Hon Ibrahim Hamza recommended the approval of the state and local government supplementary budgets to enable the executive to deliver the much-expected dividends of democracy.
