Cannabis is now legal in Germany, but subject to restrictions, and pubs and clubs have different closing times in different states.

As thousands of Tartan Army foot soldiers head to Germany for Euro 2024, here is a run down of some laws in the cities Scotland will play in.

The closing times of German bars and clubs can vary from state to state, with many abolishing closing hours. But most states have what's known as a "cleaning hour", where alcohol is not sold. The next match sees Scotland taking on Switzerland on Wednesday, June 19. The match is at the Cologne Arena, in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia.
