Abortion rights advocates ask Supreme Court to strike down controversial Louisiana law requiring doctors who perform abortions to have admitting privileges at a local hospital.

advocates have asked the U.S. Supreme Court to summarily strike down a controversial Louisiana law requiring doctors who perform abortions to have admitting privileges at a local hospital.– hours before it was set to take effect -- pending an expected appeal from the Center for Reproductive Rights, which is representing a Louisiana abortion clinic and two physicians.

“The stakes in this case are high for the rule of law, and the real world consequences for women in Louisiana could be dire,” said Nancy Northup, president of the Center for Reproductive Rights. “Abortion access in the state is already hanging by a thread. The number of clinics has already fallen from 11 in 2001 to just 3 today.”

“The doctors in our case and throughout Louisiana who provide abortions engaged in extensive efforts to obtain privileges and virtually all of them were shut out,” said T.J. Tu, the lead attorney on the case.

The entire abortion issue needs to be discussed thoroughly without any political intervention.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

How is that possibly controversial?

Nope.

Hate don't think

i think the definitive politically correct statement on abortion is that's it's entirely a women's issue and a woman can choose to abort a child at any time it's inside her she can even strangle it as it's coming out it's up to her

so like over the years i became an expert on abortion i watched the news it was a regular feature i've done more thinking about killing babies than i would have liked in my 38 years

Big Government Contards who tell us that the government can't do anything right have no problems shitting on women's rights.

Ha!

Demo woman are not happy unless they can Kill all the babies they want.

Love listening to dimm's whine aka HardballChris

South Korea court strikes down six decade old abortion banThe ban was rarely enforced until the last decade when the government cracked down on the procedure. I sense a that a huge wave of conservatives are about to flip their shit. Interesting that some countries are progressing while the U.S. is rapidly regressing into a $hithole country under the Trump regime, attempting to legalize the murder of innocent women who seek to control their own bodies. America, wake up before you totally destroy yourself! Meanwhile in America, they are banning abortions again and trying to give the death penalty for females who have had an abortion.
