The accused were said to have attacked Timileyin after he was alleged to be behind the theft of a mobile phone belonging to one of the accused.The students, aged between 18 and 34, were remanded in prison and will remain there until their trial date on July 8th, 2024. Members of the Tripartite Committee on Minimum Wage, comprising government representatives, organised labour, and the organised private sector, resumed talks, yesterday, on a new minimum wage for Nigerian workers.

After repeatedly denying the return of subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit , the Federal Government, yesterday, said a whopping N5.4 trillion was paid to subsidise the product.
