Cape Town attorney arrested after being found with mandrax and dagga inside court

A 41-year-old Cape Town attorney was arrested after mandrax tablets and cannabis were found in his possession when he entered the Kuils River Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

Western Cape police spokesperson Warrant Joseph Swartbooi said a police officer who was in court was called to assist security at the court's main entrance, where the guard had accosted a"suspicious" man. "When he arrived at the entrance, he found an unknown man in possession of suspicious parcels.
