Donald Trump has criticized the sentencing date in his hush money case, despite his own lawyer previously agreeing to the timeframe.The ContextThe former president has been found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records relating to a hush money payment made to the adult film star Stormy Daniels shortly before the 2016 presidential election. Trump has maintained his innocence.

ViewsSpeaking to Newsweek, Todd Landman, a professor of political science at Nottingham University in the U.K., said it was 'unlikely' the party 'will deny' Trump the nomination after sentencing.'The sentencing date has been set by the court, where the sentencing decision itself will reflect the guidance in the law, and which will take into account the initial probation report and the relative contrition of Mr. Trump,' he said.
