Legal Aid Council lauds Ugwuanyi’s commitment to justice delivery

Mr Abubakar, who also applauded the state government for its implementation of the law, described it as “the best in the country”.

He equally lauded the state government for the prompt payment of monthly subvention to the Legal Aid Council, adding that “this gesture shows that the government takes everyone into heart, especially in the area of justice delivery.” He disclosed that the council’s target “is to ensure that all the 774 Local Government Areas of Nigeria are covered so that access to justice is delivered closer to the people, especially those who cannot afford to transport themselves around when they have matters.”

Represented by his deputy, Cecilia Ezeilo, the governor highlighted the progress made so far by his administration in the Justice Sector, saying: “These include but are not limited to such milestones as the enactment of the Child Rights Law of Enugu State, the enactment of the Enugu State Administration of Criminal Justice Law considered the best in Nigeria.”

A Legal View On Atiku’s Nigerianness By Koye-Ladele Mofehintoluwa | Sahara ReportersWhat is unclear as a matter of law is if the decision to be Nigerian taken at that plebiscite only affects the descendants of the Jada environs and not those already alive at the time of the plebiscite who prior the plebiscite were in Northern Cameroon. Atiku was born in 1946. His people made the decision to be part of Nigeria in 1961. Did he become a Nigerian too in 1961 with the rest of his people or only his children are Nigerians having been born after 1961 inside Nigeria? atiku According to my book of revelation; And it shall come to pass in Nigeria, that an era will come when intelligent people will look stupid and stupid people look intelligent! Welcome to that (Buhari/APC) era😑 atiku When you contest against APC you are not a Nigerian. When you want to voluntarily leave Nigeria you MUST be a Nigerian. atiku I think Cameroon’s Independence is January 1st, 1960, so was British Cameroun part of Cameroun or until after the Plebiscite ? I remember part of Cameroun was in NCNC Party of Nigeria until after the plebiscite. This whole thing looks like a distraction to the Tribunal.
