Imo election: Court takes decision in favour of 40 political parties against PDP’s Ihedioha

Ihedioha is the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and winner of the governorship election in the state.

The political parties included Mass Movement of Nigeria , Peoples Party of Nigeria , Democratic Alliance , National Democratic Liberty Party , among others. The parties told the tribunal that the governorship candidate of PDP did not meet the requirements of the electoral laws and that purported votes were void and unlawful, alleging that there was massive hijacking and diversion of ballot papers and other electoral materials to places other than polling units.
