A social media post has gone viral claiming Donald Trump could face an all-Black Appeals Court if, as widely expected, he decides to appeal his conviction on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up the payment of hush money to Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.Trump is due to be sentenced on July 11 and faces a maximum of four years in prison and a $5,000 fine for each of the 34 felony counts.

'As of writing, Cole's initial post on X has received over 2,900 shares and 757,000 views.Out of the 21 justices who sit on the First Division of the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, five are Black: Presiding Justice Dianne T. Renwick, Justice Pitt-Burke, Justice Troy K. Webber, Justice Tanya R. Kennedy, and Justice Marsha D. Michael. These five justices were in the photo that Cole shared on X.
