The tribunal gave the order after the petition filed by the APC in the state challenging the victory of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Engr Seyi Makinde in the election.
Makinde was declared Makinde winner of the election by INEC after scoring 515,621 votes as against his closest opponent, Adelabu of APC who polled 357,982.called the Media Director of Adelabu, he said his boss did not file any case against PDP but that the petition was filed by the party.Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Anthony Akpovi gave the order after looking into the application presented before the tribunal.
While presenting the petition, Mr. Olajide Ola, counsel to Adelabu prayed the court to grant his motion experte to allow his client inspect the governorship election materials in the state.
