Yahoo Poll: Will a proposed fake news law make you more careful about what you post and share?

Singapore’s Law Ministry tabled the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Bill in Parliament on Monday, 1 April.

Since then, people have wondered how the proposed law would be enforced, with so much left to the discretion of government officials. The proposed law allows any minister to act against those whom they believe are guilty of contravening the law. Similarly, that minister can also decide whom to exempt from the provision of the law.
