Nnadozie Nwachkwu, 26, is alleged to have given amphetamines to a female complainant with intent to endanger life or cause bodily harm.Nwachkwu has elected to be tried on the charge in Supreme Court with a judge and jury.

He is now scheduled to appear in Supreme Court June 10 to receive a trial date. Lucas Justin Roach, 19, is charged with auto theft , evading police, impaired driving, exceeding the legal limit of blood/alcohol concentration and mischief relating to vehicle damage.A bail hearing has been scheduled for a Big Bras d’Or man charged with assault offences. Logan Myles Gregory, 36, is charged with six counts of breaching court orders, and single counts of assault with a weapon , aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose , unlawful entry and uttering a threat.Gregory is on remand and is scheduled to appear in provincial court May 31 for a bail hearing.
