THE Department of Justice Task Force on Women and Children and Against Trafficking in Persons has filed qualified trafficking and child exploitation charges before the Regional Trial Court in the City of Manila against a mother and her cohort who allegedly tried to sell the former’s newborn baby online for P90,000.

It was the National Authority for Child Care which brought to PNP-WCPC’s attention the said illegal activity. A certain “Kuy’s Jay” then sent the policewoman a private message offering a baby for adoption for P90,000.
