Federal Government is seeking a jail sentence for the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen in his ongoing trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
While the trial was ongoing, the National Judicial Council advised President Muhammadu Buhari to retire Onnoghen.
