Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has once again dodged questions from journalists about Australia’s foreign policy position on the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant for Israeli leaders, saying “I don’t comment on hypotheticals”.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has dodged questions about Australia’s position on the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant for Israeli leaders in a brutal press conference.

Speaking at a press conference in Brisbane on Thursday, the Prime Minister dodged questions fired at him about the ICC’s decision, saying to a journalist: ‘You didn’t mention the ICC in your questions at all’. Asked why he won’t state his position, Mr Albanese argued he has already stated “very clearly” what Australia’s position is.

“Whatever this prosecutor might imply, there is no equivalence – none – between Israel and Hamas,” President Biden said. “What’s he’s trying to do is get out of committing himself to something that I thought Joe Biden very strongly committed himself to,” he said.
