Nassin Boutoubane also threatened the woman with a knife at their Bellshill home, Hamilton Sheriff Court heard on Friday.

Boutoubane, 24, appeared from custody and admitted assaulting the woman at a house in Amethyst Avenue on August 20 and 21 last year.
