An 18-year-old who prosecutors said helped organize swatting calls within an online group is expected in federal court Monday.Brayden Grace was arrested in Colu

on Thursday, one of three named in an indictment unsealed last week in connection with swatting calls across the country. At least three other conspirators are labeled as juveniles.Grace's detention hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. in federal court in downtown Columbus.

Using Instagram and Telegram, members of the online group "Purgatory" allegedly targeted people and organizations with threats of mass shootings, bombs, and more. Prosecutors said Grace referred to himself as "co-owner" of Purgatory, adding, "We are taking this team to the next step."Hollywood Casino in Columbus, OhioA trailer park in AlabamaProsecutors said they made calls using Voice over Internet Protocol services such as TextNow and Google Voice without giving away their true telephone numbers. The indictment quotes a message where a member wrote, "We are back" and "Purgatory has made a return.
