He has also hit out at the "wanton and indecorous and imbecilic behaviours" by a member of the Qatari royal family.But Mr Candy's representatives have branded the claim "pure fiction" and are certain it will be thrown out at a "strike out" hearing next month. "This appears to be a 'hoax' claim and an attempted shakedown by Mr Brown in order to elicit a nuisance payment from the defendants."
