Chief Justice Richard Malanjum retires

Chief Justice Richard Malanjum has retired upon reaching 66 years and 6 months of age, serving 9 months in his post as Malaysia's top judge. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 12, 2019.

CHIEF Justice Richard Malanjum retired today after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 66 years and 6 months, having served 27 years on the bench. He has served nine months as chief justice and was the first Sabahan to have risen to the top of the apex court.
