Judge David Stumpert calling this the worst case of animal abuse he has ever seen. Chirstopher Ferrell appeared in an Ashland County court room Friday to for his sentencing. He has already spent 140 days in prison for animal abuse, but Judge Stumpert said that was not enough.

“I’m finding it to be one of the worst forms, if not the worst form of that offense.”ASHLAND COUNTY, Ohio - An Ashland County judge said the worst case of animal abuse he has ever seen came through his court Friday.He has already spent 140 days in prison for animal abuse, but Judge David Stumpert said that was not enough.

Stumpert gave Ferrell 18 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to severely abusing a cat back in Dec. of 2023.
