Trump Hush Money Trial: Michael Cohen Faces Fiery Cross-Examination

Donald Trump's former attorney and fixer Michael Cohen returned to the stand in the criminal hush money trial against the former president. Live updates have ended.

We learned today that Cohen will be prosecutors' final witness, we may get more insight into who the defense may call during a scheduled hearing on Thursday afternoon.There is no court tomorrow. On Thursday, Cohen will return to the stand for continued cross-examination. Blanche believes he will be done by Thursday. There is also no court Friday for Trump's son's high school graduation.

EXPLODES, outside Trump's courtroom in New York, says, "This is a politicized persecution that is nakedly apparent." Trump attorney Todd Blanche asks Michael Cohen if his podcast topped 10 million downloads one year after he started it."I think it was more but yes," Cohen answers. Trump attorney Blanche turns questioning to Michael Cohen's Congressional testimony. He asks if he lied when testifying about the Trump Moscow project, Cohen responds,"Yes the information I gave was not accurate."

Blanche asks Cohen about the positive things he said about Trump in 2016 and if he was being truthful. Blanche asks why he would say"probably" then."I don't specifically know if I used those words," Cohen responds. When asked again, Cohen says,"I'd like to see accountability. It's not for me. It's for the jury."

When Trump attorney Todd Blanche was showing him an exhibit on the screen, Cohen looked around telling him,"It disappeared from my screen." Cohen pushes back on Blanche when asked if he's been following the trial on CNN or MSNBC, saying he watches those networks for other news and the trial happens to come up.
