It’s the first time District 10 Councilman Marc Whyte will be in court since his DWI arrest in December.

Video was released from the night of Marc Whyte’s arrest on December 29. He was pulled over for speeding on Loop 410 and was reportedly swerving between lanes without signaling.After his arrest, Whyte told us he did not feel intoxicated at the time but took ownership and apologized. Since then he has played a role on hot topics such as the controversial “reproductive justice fund” and is currently one of a few councilmembers who has considered calling for the removal of the city attorney.KENS 5 has brought numerous firsts to South Texas television, including being the first local station with a helicopter, the first with its own Doppler radar and the first to air a local morning news program.
