A 22-year-old Jalal Debella has been charged with murder A man has been charged with murder after a 66-woman was stabbed to death at a bus stop in north London. Jalal Debella, 22, was charged with the killing of the woman in Edgware on Thursday. It comes after a woman was fatally stabbed at around 11.50am on May 9 on Burnt Oak Broadway in north London. The woman was fatally injured. Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, she died at the scene, the police said.
He is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Saturday charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon. The incident led to a major emergency response in the north London borough after reports of a stabbing on the high street. Officers, London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance attended.
