The Homelessness Reduction Act, in operation for the past 12 months, is potentially the greatest piece of homelessness legislation for 40 years in England, according to Southwark council in south London. The Labour-run council pioneered the government’s new flagship act, and is upbeat about it. Yet we borrow and send £15 bn across the world to supposedly help those who can’t help themselves (a good chunk of it just gets handed to the UN because we can’t even give money away properly).
The majority of these families are not from the UK , unemployed and need to be dispersed across the UK to be housed .
Bullshit! They can afford if they stop giving themselves obscene salaries!!!
Perhaps we need a new and dynamic way of thinking about this issue.
The homeless epidemic is the fault of Tory governments. First Mrs T and her cronies decimated social housing with RTB and now their ancestors are putting the final nails in the coffin with UC. Thankfully Scotland abolished RTB and the rest of UK has to do the same

Just imagine the Return they get from rates which are totally inflated, and yet they can't provide! About putting half of your Salaries towards homeless Councillors?
Learn from Singapore, they've HDB flats, subsidized by the government, for their citizens. Excellent flats, excellent government.
