Harris says a woman's right to choose is on the ballot

Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned in suburban Philadelphia on Wednesday. She took part in a conversation on women's reproductive rights at Salus University, a health sciences school outside Philadelphia.She appeared on stage with moderator and Emmy-winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph. Both women told a crowd of about 200 that women's right to choose in states such as Pennsylvania is on the ballot.

'Harris pointed the finger at former President Trump, saying it was his Supreme Court nominations that led to the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022 and led to state abortion bans. She warned another Trump presidency could lead to more restrictions or even a nationwide ban. Trump says it's an issue best left up to the states now.Suburban women voters in the crowd in Elkins Park, Montgomery County, said reproductive freedom is the top issue in the 2024 election.
