The African National Congress on Tuesday condemned the looting of businesses in the Johannesburg Central Business District during a Congress of South African Students protest march. Acting National Spokesperson Dakota Legoete said the ANC was concerned that these acts of lawlessness detracted from the noble objectives of the march and the legitimacy of students’ demands.
