Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Agboola Dabiri, appeals to Nigerians not to stigmatise children who have spent time at rehabilitation centres. Nigeria

Dabiri, who stated this yesterday at the 2nd graduation ceremony of the Diversion Community Rehabilitation programme for 14 children, said it is important that they are not stigmatised so that they would not return to crime and do more negative things.He said that they should be supported and provided employment and opportunities that would make them better persons.

“To all parents here and out there, let us continue to support our children and stand by them even during their difficult moments. Our support would go a long way in paving way for them to have a secured future,” he said.
