The Cooper-Letwin Bill being passed back to the House of Commons from the House of Lords - and then received Royal Assent

Ms Cooper said last night: "Parliament has voted tonight against the damage and chaos that No Deal would cause for jobs, manufacturing, medicine supplies, policing & security."The Government voted against it in the Commons and the Lords.Britain is still legally set to leave the EU on April 12 - this Friday - with or without an agreement in place.

Mrs May wants an extension until June 30, but she's not likely to get one as they think she should have a longer delay.up to a year to give the PM time to get a cross-party soft Brexit deal with Labour.
