Manchester City star Jack Grealish has been fined by a court after he admitted speeding in his £100,000 Range Rover.
Barrister John Dye also said he had been 'instructed to apologise' by Grealish. He had also been facing a charge of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver, but prosecutors asked for the charge to be dropped after his guilty plea to the speeding offence.JPs fined the 28-year-old £666 and handed him five penalty points.
He crashed his car just a day after posting a video on social media asking for people to stay at home to protect the NHS during the pandemic. Grealish earns £270,000 per week at City and is regarded as one of the most in-demand footballers by sponsors.
