Matthew Scott Parson, 24, of Glace Bay, is charged with robbery, assault and breaching a court order.Another of the accused, Ralph Scott Martell, 33, of Reserve Mines, is charged with two counts of breaching court orders and single counts of assault and robbery.The third accused, Cassandra Nicole Leduc, 25, also of Glace Bay, is charged with robbery and is scheduled to enter a plea May 17.
John Alfred Farrell, 51, was sentenced on two counts of breaching court orders and single counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking , and possession of money knowing it as obtained by crime. In addition to the jail sentence, Farrell is banned for life from possessing weapons and is to submit a DNA sample to the national registry.
