KUALA LUMPUR: The Conference of Rulers could have been “ill-advised” on the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), says Umno stalwart Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.

The Conference of Rulers could have been “ill-advised” on the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court , says Umno stalwart Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah .

“Perhaps they had been advised that it could have an effect which may be detrimental to their positions as heads of states or as Rulers,” he said.

So many 'ill' person

Getting fed-up with this issue. A decision to withdraw has been made. Enough! The Star ought to let it rest rather than continuously harpooning on the matter. There are other impt issues, eg-the uncontrolled pollution in Malacca Straits, unemployment & S’pore encroachment.

You wonder. Where was the legal officers from Wisma Putra? Or for that matter the AGC (as it impacts the status of the Rulers vis-a-vis the Constitution). Why ask academics when they is Government machinery to advise the Rulers? Maybe as an second opinion. Maybe.
