Victoria's chief coroner, Sara Hinchey, could lose her job if an allegation she took alcohol belonging to the Coroner's Court is proven, the judicial watchdog has found. But an allegation she took alcohol from the workplace for personal use could be grounds for dismissal

"The Commission was of the opinion it could, if substantiated, amount to proven misbehaviour such as to warrant removal from office," the commission said in a statement. Judge Hinchey will also be counselled concerning a complaint she reprimanded some of the court's employees for"despicable behaviour" during a legal services meeting which could have been interpreted to mean she would take their conduct into account during any future appearances before her.

When one observes the extremely low standard of legal practitioners that are the pool from which state coroners are chosen, one can appreciate their often inappropriate behaviour together with their absurd sentencing.

Police are Coroners too. If a bit of alcohol to kill germs is worthy of Theft Charges, so too as Police cannot call that kettle Black. All tainted.

If they're consistent with the judgement exonerating the police officer for sexually assaulting a woman, she'll be fine. Bloody hell.

Why does a Court have alcohol in stock? Who pays for it, the taxpayer?

Why on earth would the 'workplace' of a coroner have alcohol at it in the first place? Unless they are embalming bodies or something.....
