New trial ordered for Lily Ridgeway after manslaughter conviction quashed for death of Jason Adams in Raymond Terrace

What's next?A court has quashed the conviction of a woman found guilty of the manslaughter of a man near Newcastle, and ordered a retrial.

During Ms Ridgeway's trial, the Supreme Court heard Mr Adams was killed during a fight outside the home of Ms Ridgeway's friend. He told the court the hearsay surrounded evidence that Ms Ridgeway had said to her friend about the stabbing that "it felt so good".
