Cornejo, meanwhile, in her complaint, said she was raped by Navarro.

He also said he was not hiding in Eastern Samar but was merely attending a business engagement there.May 5, 2014 — Cornejo voluntarily surrendered to the Philippine National Police and filed her petition for bail. Cornejo was accused of serious illegal detention, a non-bailable offense.
