Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, who has mostly abstained from interviews and public appearances, offered wide-ranging comments on immigration, pro-Palestinian protests and abortion in an interview with podcaster Sage Steele on Wednesday.
“That’s not Bobby’s position as I understand it,” she said. “My understanding with Bobby’s position is that, you know, every abortion is a tragedy. It’s a loss of life. My understanding is that he absolutely believes in limits on abortion.” Shanahan also criticized both Israel and pro-Palestinian protesters.
