After an incident that drew heavy law enforcement presence, the woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police say a woman suffering apparent self-inflicted injuries was safely apprehended in a home on Tantalus Road.

Police responded to the incident in addition to the Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team . “IERT eventually deployed into the home and apprehended the woman safely. She was treated on scene for apparent self-inflicted injuries and taken to a local area hospital for any treatment she might require. The Squamish RCMP thanks the neighbours and public for their cooperation in avoiding the area while police worked to safely resolve the situation.”
