Cardiff dad wants unisex baby change facility law

Image captionChanging his son on a wheelie bin lid and in a car boot has led one father to call for baby changing facilities in public places to be accessible for both men and women.

He wants to know the"right facilities" will be available when he takes his two-year-old son Joseff out for day trips without mum Joanne. After #squatforchange started trending on social media last year when Donte Palmer's picture raised awareness of a lack of changing facilities in male toilets, Mr Esposti tweeted his own baby changing frustrations."It's not daddy day care for me, it's called parenting," Tony Esposti says

Use the ones provided..you’re changing the baby not having a slash...

I suspect that Prince William the Bald won’t take up this issue ...... as the nannies deal with such matters.

EverydayMisandry

This is an individual issue with private premise (baby changing within female toilet).... Generically the baby changing symbol is neither male or female...

Just let the wife do it. Jeez (joke everyone)

I’ve never been to a baby changing facility that wasn’t unisex, but then again I just go in , as long as it’s not in use I don’t care.

I just walk into the woman’s toilet, if anyone tries to stop me I just say I identify as female and call them a bigoted transphobe, job done.

Sounds reasonable

I can't recall this ever being a problem

Actually hes right when I take my 2 boys out they come in with me in the ladies for the baby change but when their dad takes them theres always issues where the shops wont let him in the womens to change their nappies. 1/2

Unwell

If there's no changing facilities in either a uni-sex disabled toilet or the mens, I just go into the womens toilet and if someone says something I simply explain 'I'm changing my daughter if you have a problem I'll happily explain it to the police. Go phone them.'

I agree its a nightmare I'm a single dad.

Totally agree. I recall being treated like a total weirdo when I dropped my children off at nursery, took them swimming and changed them etc. I would be a millionaire if I had a £ for each time the call 'Its a man' was shouted.

I thought they were, they are in intuMetrocentre anyway.

Vote UKIP

What a great idea. Non-gender specific baby swapping...

Why when its just as simple to put baby changing tables in the men's rooms
