US Congress reportedly warns ICC over arrest warrants for Israeli officials

Discussions are under way to bring in legislation aimed at blocking International Criminal Court's decision, US news outlet Axios reports, as Netanyahu is said to have requested help from Biden against arrest warrants.

Based in The Hague, Netherlands, the ICC has been investigating alleged war crimes involving both the Israeli military and Palestinian resistance groups. 'We've been really clear about the ICC investigation, we don't support it, we we don't believe that they have the jurisdiction,' White HouseJohnson called on the Biden administration to demand the withdrawal of ICC plans and to take all necessary measures to prevent such actions.
