Brandon Kruger, who has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing his girlfriend 16 times, has asked the court to hold an enquiry into his fitness to stand trial.
Wearing a black T-shirt and jeans, Kruger, 43, briefly appeared in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court on Friday afternoon.
