Hawks arrest three of their own on corruption, extortion charges

The two captains and a warrant officer are expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Friday on extortion charges.Hawks spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi said it was alleged that the three officers had visited a business premises in January where they allegedly extorted a large sum of money from the business owner. They took the money in exchange for not reporting the business for being in possession of false documents relating to doing business in the country, said Mulaudzi.

The two captains and a warrant officer were expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Friday.

Surprised? Not really....

Let this be a lesson for those in the Hawks. Crack the wip. If there are more of them please go the same route. Assist & forfeite unit must be applied to all those who does illegal in come. This must apply to politicians who are implicated in corruption same route.
