Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari has said he would not waiver in his commitment to due process and preserving the sanctity of the rule of law.
Represented by Professor Rasheed Yakubu, the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission , Buhari's speech read: “With the 2019 general election that have come and gone, we as a nation have once again reiterated our choice of democracy as the system of government by which we hope to imbibe an all-round development.
“We recognise the place of our intellectuals to undertake cutting edge researches that will address the challenges of development and contribute to making lives better. “We shall continue to interface with the unions of universities in our bid to ensuring that we have a stable higher education sector that contributes to the nation’s global competiveness.
There is nothing like Rule of Law in Nigerian criminal justice system and other sectors. Please we are tied of hearing such things is just a merely says but not implementing it's.
We had enough of this fight against corruption!! Nigeria has other problems that needs full government attention!! Kidnapping in the Abuja/kaduna road, the crisis in Kaduna and I Zamfara!! If care is not taken, Nigeria will became like a terrorist camp.
