Porn star Stormy Daniels will not have to answer a subpoena from former President Donald Trump's defense team as his criminal trial continues.
The subpoena was merely "an unrestrained foray into confidential records in the hope that the unearthing of some unspecified information will enable them to impeach witnesses," Merchan ruled. Trump's defense was looking to get all documents from Daniels related to a documentary she participated in that premiered on Peacock this year, according to The Washington Examiner.
