The federal court has extended an injunction against X (formerly Twitter) relating to the footage of an alleged stabbing of Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel, but lawyers for the social media platform will argue the bishop himself wishes for the vision to remain online.

Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel has provided an affidavit calling for the vision from his alleged church stabbing to remain online on X, in key material for the social media platform to fight its case against the Australian online safety regulator.The federal court has extended an injunction against X relating to the footage of an alleged stabbing of Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel, but lawyers for the social media platform will argue the bishop himself wishes for the vision to remain online.
