PETALING JAYA: A man suspected of being involved in the recent shooting at KLIA Terminal 1 was slapped with seven charges, including possession of a firearm, at the Kota Bharu sessions court today.

Hafizul Hawari, 38, pleaded not guilty and asked for the charges to be tried together before judge Nik Habri Muhamad, Kosmo reported.He was charged under Section 8 of the Firearms Act 1971 with possessing a firearm, Section 8 of the Arms Act 1960 with possessing bullets, and Section 8 of the Explosives Act 1957 with possessing a package of firecrackers without a permit.
