Speaking to SowetanLIVE on behalf of the school from outside the crèche, Danie van Zyl said a disgruntled former employee had decided to share the videos with parents after she was fired."The lady taking these videos, she blackmailed the principal," said Van Zyl.
"She threatened that she would make these videos viral and send them all over the country and to the parents because she wants to teach her a lesson. That transpired because she was dismissed for an earlier incident involving some alleged dishonesty," he added. The school principal's phone remained engaged on Wednesday afternoon and efforts to reach her proved fruitless.

So all along this employee that leaked the clip did not see anything wrong, His or Her was an accomplice by remaining silent when all this was done.

She is not even addressing the real issue here. Irrespective of the motive for taking and releasing the, I think she did the right thing. And I dont buy this story that the principal was not aware.

totally out of question!!! the problem here is the abuse of young children. settling of score or not the video is out with that. who in their right mind can negotiate 4 such. she (principal) should've reported the lady to saps.. Habaswe!!!

disgruntled or not, kids shouldn't be subjected to such violent behavior. We keep wondering why we have such violent society.
We should learn to listen to our kids. They wouldn't lie, if ever they are experiencing any form of abuse.
Who cares about that? Does it make the abuse of children understandable or what? The creche is rushing to cry victim instead of regretting the incident. It shows they are all the same, including the owner. She too must fully be held accountable.
Does it even matter why the video was leaked in the first place?
That doesn’t reduce the severity of this case. It’s unacceptable, I’d be disgruntled too if anyone did that to any kid!!

It serves them right, it's a gruesome video. Their license should be revoked with immediate effect. Law must take its place
